Better Ways to Inspect Scaffolding

Do you have Sealand containers tied up storing contaminated scaffolding? UniTech has developed an automated conveying system that efficiently and accurately monitors your scaffolding (both Beta/Gamma and Alpha).

UniTech's custom-developed scaffolding monitoring system surveys your contaminated equipment on all sides. Our Straight Scaffolding Monitor quickly and automatically frisks round straight pipes, accurately examining for contamination where other systems fall short.

UniTech's Excel Scaffolding Monitor inspects piping with collars spaced every 8" along upright sections. The collars make hand frisking very difficult; now, specially shaped detectors on UniTech equipment survey entire sections of scaffolding in a matter of seconds. Depending on results, scaffold decontamination may be done at the UniTech facility.

UniTech's unique Scaffold Splitter slices through long sections of pipe, exposing inaccessible areas and subjecting them to inspection. The pipe splitter cuts through metal up to three inches in diameter so internal surfaces can be surveyed for free release; splitting and monitoring also reveals whether internal surfaces need to be decontaminated.

Respirator decontamination: UniTech services include new automated conveying equipment for decontaminating respirator filters. Watch the demonstration video here..
